Throughout the process of developing the “fence” concept has turned out to become ‘juxtaposition’ idea. This ‘juxtaposition is choose to be the theme of my video. From the assignment 3 Final video, I believe that the video shown the strong concept of how the built environment and the entire building have been connected and integrated together in a cohesive way. The mass production of the building block and the stacking inspiration, which create the building form are very diverse to the surrounding. Streets perform as the movement path to connect the whole field together. A combination of the unique urban street patters is indicated by the grid of the city. Beside that, the used of Black & White colour of the buildings and background of the video, created specifically certain contrast and integrated with the surrounding.
The music was chosen as “poker face” by lady gaga. The rhythm of the music has been given the feeling of gradually step by step and it enhanced the idea of ‘juxtaposition’.
